The Laem Chabang Port Development Project aims to increase the port’s capacity
to support the growing demand for international maritime shipping in the future.
The construction of a deep-water boat mooring and other facilities will be undertaken, including the development of a rail container transport center at Laem Chabang Port (Single Rail Transfer Operator: SRTO). Improvements to facilities will be made to solve traffic problems within the port, as well as the network and continuous transportation systems necessary in the Laem Chabang Port area that will be sufficiently connected to the external networks and support the expansion of the volume of ships and various types of goods.
