About EEC Development Fund
The Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), established under the Eastern Special Development Zone Act B.E. 2561 (2018), aims to become a leading economic zone in ASEAN. With a focus on investment in target industries as a new engine of growth, the EEC spans Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, and Rayong Provinces. Its development encompasses industrial advancement, infrastructure, and new city planning, emphasizing a systematic and sustainable regional framework. In particular, the EEC promotes commerce and industries that leverage advanced technologies, innovation, and environmentally friendly practices.
Alongside EEC area development, the EEC Development Fund was established to support local areas, communities, and residents within or affected by EEC development. The Fund emphasizes inclusive participation and equitable opportunities, addressing community needs and providing timely solutions. Its objective is to maximize benefits for the local people and communities involved.
